Understanding CEREC
The CEREC system works by first creating a digital impression of your bite and the affected tooth. These images are used by the computer to construct a model of your teeth, which our dentists then use to design a restorative cap. Upon completion, the digital blueprint is transferred to our in-office milling unit where the cap is physically fabricated. Our dentist then performs the final steps – painting, polishing, and glazing the cap for a natural integration with your existing tooth – before cementing the cap in place.

Crowns
For decayed or damaged teeth, a dental crown could be your perfect solution. We use ceramic and porcelain to craft natural-looking caps for your front teeth, and metal crowns for your back teeth offering increased durability. Crowns are positioned on top of your natural teeth to prevent further decay or damage, with the color and shape perfectly matched to surrounding teeth for a seamless look and fit.

Veneers
Veneers are another option for damaged or decayed teeth. Unlike crowns, veneers are fixed to the front of your tooth.
In the case of porcelain veneers, your existing tooth is slimmed down to achieve the perfect fit and ensure a natural looking tooth. A temporary veneer is installed on your tooth while your permanent veneer is manufactured off-site to ensure a perfect fit and color match.
We also offer Lumineers®, an extremely thin variant of porcelain, requiring little to no reduction of the existing tooth. This option is pain-free and does not necessitate temporary veneers but can only be applied if the existing tooth is not severely damaged or misaligned.
Implants
For individuals who have lost a tooth due to severe decay or damage to the underlying jaw structure, implants might offer a pathway to restore a healthy smile and regain normal eating capabilities without resorting to dentures.
The dentist will assess your jaw to determine your suitability for implants. Based on the evaluation, multiple implant options, including root form, plate form, and subperiosteal may be available. We use titanium to permanently fix a post to your jaw, and then attach a custom-made ceramic tooth to the post. Implants can be done in single or multiple configurations and look and function just like your natural teeth.
Bridges
Bridges are synthetically made teeth, typically crafted from porcelain or gold, which are permanently secured to neighboring teeth to fill a gap where teeth are missing. Although bridges are among the least invasive methods of repair and replacement for teeth, they can pose cleaning challenges and potentially lead to further tooth decay without proper care and hygiene.
